 ARTWORK: (** This is important **)
The quality of the image you supply us affects the quality of the gobos you get, and sometimes affects when you get it. Please read the following carefully so we can give you the best result possible.
All designs are converted to a computer format before we start to make your gobos. The most efficient and cost effective way for you supply artwork is to obtain the correct format file and email it to us. You will find that almost all companies have had their logo drawn in a computer for printing purposes, and this is the image we would prefer. You can have the company marketing/graphics people email files to us or we are happy to deal directly with them if that is easier for you.
FILE FORMATS:
For stainless gobos we require images drawn in a vector/line art format. Adobe Illustrator (ai.) is the preferred format, but other programs such as CorelDraw and Freehand have options to save as 'ai.' compatible files. Files in other formats may attract an additional charge to convert to a vector based image.
FONTS:
If you are sending an 'ai.' file which contains fonts there are two options.
- Convert the fonts to outlines.
- Send the appropriate font file with the image file.
For all other artwork (eg fax, bromide, pixel file), if you need accurate fonts please try and identify the font name so we can recreate it accurately. If not we will match the lettering as closely as possible.
HARDCOPY ARTWORK (ie. fax, bromide or drawing)
Needs to be scanned and converted to the correct format for a stainless or glass gobo. Additional artwork charges may apply for conversions.
